Flirting With Disaster
Jill Johnson returns with her new sound and a new album, ”Flirting With Disaster”, and it’s a darker, somewhat more naked with a little more of a ’rock ’n’ roll’ and ’roots’ in feel, while still being rooted in the Country genre that brought her such tributes on her last album
Co written with Liz Rose (who has written most of Taylor Swift’s hits including, ”White Horse”, ”Teardrops on My Guitar” and ”You Belong with Me” and for her work along with artists like, Trisha Yearwood and, Bonnie Raitt.
The whole record radiates a lust for life.
Jill Johnson’s enormous drive and energy has always shone through all of her projects and is the corner stone of her musical career. With this new album, Jill is more confident, even cocksure of herself than ever and it’s obvious that she’s come a long way as a songwriter to make an album that has come out of happiness and fun-filled nights - a mix of country tinged with more rock orientated material and light and airy sound.
